About Us
WD Designs, LLC offers a
full line of Awareness Jewelry that takes the Silicone Bracelet concept to a
whole new level. Started as a way to support family members battling Breast
Cancer, WD Designs began the Awareness Line in 2004 with a bracelet design that
was awarded a Design Patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in
September 2007.
WD Designs' Awareness Jewelry line comprises 35 color
combinations that support 254 causes, donating to 80 organizations. The
selected organizations are researched through Charity Navigator, one of the
nation's premiere independent charity evaluation organizations. Constant review
of new organizations assures the best coverage is available for the causes
supported.
Business owners, Wendy Wooley and Cathy Dorman operate WD
Designs with a philanthropic purpose and social awareness. A minimum 10% of the
sales price of each piece of jewelry is donated to the individuals' selected
organization. This aggressive donation formula was chosen because it allows
customers to calculate the donation value, rather than some unknown "portion of
proceeds."
All WD Designs jewelry pieces are unique, handcrafted, and
made in the USA. Nothing is mass-produced and only the finest materials are
used in our designs with superior quality in mind. All designs are patented and
copyrighted designer originals by Wendy and Cathy.
